Shocking! Isa Guha abuses Jasprit Bumrah with racial slur in Brisbane Test

India National Cricket Team fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been single-handedly carrying the load of the Indian bowling lineup in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, and this has been evident in the ongoing third Test. The match between the two teams is taking place at the Gabba in Brisbane.

Bumrah, despite having the support from the other bowlers, has troubled the Australia National Cricket Team batters. In the ongoing series, he is making sure that he brings his best with the ball and bails his team out of pressure situations in the matches.

In Gabba, so far, Indian bowling has been all about Bumrah. The India National Cricket Team have picked 7 Australian wickets, and out of them, 5 have been taken by the premier pacer, which depicts the kind of impact he has made for the team in the crucial match of the series.

Bumrah set the tone for India National Cricket Team on Day 2 of the ongoing game. The speedster removed both the openers, Usman Khawaja and Nathan Mcsweeny, early and made sure that he put his team at the top in the first session of the game.

In the first five overs that he bowled, Bumrah had figures of 2/4. This made former Australia National Cricket Team pacer Brett Lee hail the India fast bowler. The ex-Australia speedster on air lauded the vice-captain of the team for his spell.

Replying to this, Isa Guha came up with the eyebrow-raising comment. The former Australia Women's National Cricket Team player called Jasprit Bumrah the MVP of the team before elaborating on him as the Most valuable primate. She said:

“Well, he’s the MVP, isn’t he? Most valuable primate, Jasprit Bumrah."

Isa Guha added that Bumrah has to do all the taking for India and added: “He is the one that’s going to do all the talking for India, and why so much focus was on him in the build-up to this Test match, and whether he would be fit.”
