Former India skipper Sourav Ganguly, on Saturday (July 8), announced his association with Edtech startup Classplus. The legendary cricketer will be providing a course on leadership through the Edtech platform.

Ganguly is one of India’s great captains. The former cricketer took charge of Team India after Indian cricket was rocked by the 2000 match-fixing scandal. And within months, Ganguly completely changed the fortunes of Indian cricket with his leadership. In no time, he won over the fans who were furious after the fixing scandal.

On the occasion of his 51st birthday, Sourav Ganguly took to Twitter to announce his association with Classplus. The former BCCI president announced that others can learn from him about leadership through the app called ‘Sourav Ganguly Masterclass’. He also stated that the proceeds from the course will be given to the underprivileged for their education.

“16+ years of international cricket and countless matches later… on this 51st bday, I sum up my learnings for you. They are now yours! Announcing “Sourav Ganguly Masterclass”, an app that has my first-ever online course on leadership.

“Thanks to @ClassplusApps & team for the tech support in making this happen in such a short notice. You guys have always been a family. Classplus & I, together, will be donating all the proceeds from this course for the education of underprivileged,” Ganguly tweeted.
