South Africa Wicket-Keeper Quinton de Kock And His Wife Sasha Blessed With A Baby Girl
South African wicket-keeper batter Quinton de Kock and his wife were blessed with a baby girl on Thursday, the 29-year-old posted on his Instagram account to confirm the news.
Quinton de Kock made a post on his official Instagram on Thursday, where he confirmed he and his wife have been blessed with a baby girl and they have named their daughter Kiara.

De Kock had earlier announced his retirement from Test cricket to spend more time with his family and the newborn which was on its way. He will continue playing white-ball cricket for South Africa and also participate in franchise leagues around the world.
“This is not a decision that I have come to very easily” – Quinton de Kock
Following the conclusion of the first Test, de Kock suddenly announced that he will be retiring from Tests at the age of 29. The decision came as a surprise to everybody but the wicket-keeper batter said that he took his time to make the decision.
“This is not a decision that I have come to very easily. I have taken a lot of time to think about what my future looks like and what needs to take priority in my life now that Sasha and I are about to welcome our first child into this world and look to grow our family beyond that.“
“My family is everything to me and I want to have the time and space to be able to be with them during this new and exciting chapter of our lives,” de Kock had stated while retiring.
Before retiring, Quinton de Kock played 54 Tests for South Africa and scored 3300 runs at a decent average of 38.8. In all, he scored six centuries and 22 half-centuries and all his runs came at an overall strike rate of 70.9.
