SRH Playing 11 vs Rajasthan Royals- Qualifier 2, IPL 2024

Sunrisers Hyderabad are set to collide with Rajasthan Royals in one of the most important games in IPL 2024. SRH will face Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2024 Qualifier 2. 

SRH vs RR match takes place on Friday, May 24 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Pat Cummins leads SRH in IPL 2024. They lost their previous game against KKR by a huge margin even after playing their best 11.

Abhishek Sharma will be the opener for SRH in the match against Rajasthan Royals because he has shown outstanding form in the  IPL 2024. He got out for 3 runs in the last game but will aim for a comeback in Qualifier 2. 

Rahul Tripathi

Rahul Tripathi will be picked as the one-down batter because he scored a half-century in the last match. He will aim for another such knock. 

Heinrich Klaasen (WK)

Heinrich Klaasen will be part of the playing 11 in SRH vs RR clash. He is the best wicket-keeper batter for the side who has hit 413 runs in IPL 2024.

Nitish Kumar Reddy

Washington Sundar might replace Shahbaz Ahmed as a spin all-rounder in the next game. Shahbaz Ahmed got out for a duck and did not bowl a single over in the last match. Moreover, Chidambaram Stadium is the home ground for Sundar where he has a lot of experience. 

Abdul Samad

Abdul Samad will retain his place in the lower-order batting as he can smash big knocks and capture most runs in the powerplay overs. 

Sanvir Singh

Sanvir Singh will be retained in the playing 11. He has scored just 14 runs in 3 innings. However, he was unbeaten in two games and only got a few runs to score. 

Pat Cummins (C)

Pat Cummins is captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2024 and will lead the team in the next match. Pat Cummins also picked 1 wicket in the last match and scored crucial 30 runs when the team lost batters like a house of cards.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be one of the pacers for SRH in the next game. Kumar drove SRH to victory in the previous game against Rajasthan Royals, bowling out RR when they needed just 2 runs for victory on the final ball. 

T Natarajan

T Natarajan has picked 1 wicket in the last match and will be part of the next game too. The right-arm seamer has got 18 wickets in 12 games at 9.12 economy.  

Vijayakanth Viyaskanth

Vijayakanth Viyaskanth has got 1 wicket in 3 games but has bowled at a decent economy of 8.60. Chennai supports spinners and SRH will need more spinners to win the next encounter.

The impact players can be Travis Head, Umran Malik, Glenn Phillips, Washington Sundar, and  Shahbaz Ahmed. SRH will use Head as an opener if they bat second.
