A brilliant throw from Pat Cummins ended Krunal Pandya's promising knock in the ongoing game between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

KL Rahul won the toss and opted to bat first. However, LSG's batters failed to justify their captain's decision in the crucial game. Quinton de Kock departed for just 2 runs in the third over thanks to a stunning catch from Nitish Reddy.

Later in the fifth over, Sanvir Singh came up with another brilliant effort to take Marcus Stoinis' catch and sent him back for just 3 to reduce LSG to 21 for 2. Krunal Pandya was promoted to number four and he gave the innings some much-needed impetus by hitting a couple of sixes.

LSG, however, suffered another blow in the tenth over when Pat Cummins dismissed Rahul as well. And in the 12th over, the SRH skipper came up with an impressive effort to send back a well-set Krunal Pandya. On the second ball of the over, Krunal Pandya hit T Natarajan's ball towards mid-off and set off for a quick single.

However, before he could get back inside the crease, Pat Cummins quickly picked up the ball and hit the bullseye to send back Pandya. The LSG allrounder departed after scoring 24 runs off 21 balls with the help of two sixes.
