No captains' photoshoot involving Salman Agha and Suryakumar Yadav
A day before the game on Saturday, September 27, reports claimed that the Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav had refused to attend the captains' photoshoot with Salman Agha before the final.
When the Pakistan captain, Salman Agha, was asked about this in the press conference, he said that he would follow the protocol, and Suryakumar Yadav is free to do whatever he wants to.
Meanwhile, on the evening of the Asia Cup final, a photoshoot was conducted with the trophy. However, Salman Agha was seen posing solo with the trophy as Suryakumar Yadav refused to attend it with the Pakistani.

Pitches not suiting Salman Agha and Suryakumar Yadav in Dubai - Varun Aaron
India captain Suryakumar Yadav and Pakistan captain Salman Agha have both been struggling to perform well with the bat in the ongoing edition of the Asia Cup.
Talking about this on ESPNCricinfo, former India pacer Varun Aaron said that the pitches in Dubai aren't suiting the batting style of Agha and Suryakumar. He said:
"Absolutely. The other common thing is I don't think the wicket is suiting Salman Agha at the Dubai Stadium and Suryakumar Yadav. We've obviously had a lot of chats even during IPL that Surya doesn't struggle. But his numbers on slow wickets are not as good as his numbers on fast wickets. And his numbers against bowlers who bowl a lot of slowers again are not as good as the faster bowlers. Suryakumar Yadav, the way he sets up and the way he constructs his game is around the ball coming onto him."
So he can use his wrists behind the wicket - Varun Aaron on Suryakumar Yadav
Varun Aaron further advised Suryakumar Yadav to use his magical wrists and hit the bowlers behind the wickets. He said:
"So he can use his wrists behind the wicket. He can he can carve you through the offside. And the moment he starts hitting you behind the wicket as a bowler, you almost get sucked into his plans. And then he dictates what you're doing. But he's just not able to dictate.
"He tried doing what he does best against Haris Rauf the other night, got hauled out in the deep, sorry, in deep third man trying to play one of his trademark shots. So I just think he should change his tactics a little bit because he is a player who can play really well down the ground as well. He should maybe switch it around, go straight down the ground and then go behind himself."
