Former Pakistan all-rounder Shahid Afridi is yet to join Qalandars for the upcoming edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 league as his residential visa in the UAE has expired. Shahid Afridi has been informed about his expiration once he reached Dubai and hence he returned back to Pakistan to update his Visa. According to News 18, his visa renewal process is over and he will be heading to UAE again to join Qalandars.
Shahid Afridi is one of the most feared batsmen to bowl as he comes at you straight away from the first ball. He captained Pakistan for a long duration in the ODI format and he had a successful career as an all-rounder. He started as an opening batsman and then changed into a 10 over the reliable bowler in the 50 over matches. He is a much handy player in the T20 format and can strike the ball too long.
Shahid Afridi Praised India For Their Incredible Win Against Australia
India made history in the series against Australia down under by winning it 2-1 on Australian soil for the second consecutive time. Without the likes of Virat Kohli and the injured Indian senior bowlers, India still managed to win the series under stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane and some spirited performances from the inexperienced youngsters helped the team.
With the devastating 36 all-out in Adelaide in the first test, India staged one of the greatest comebacks and chased the highest score fourth-innings score at the fortress of Australia, Gabba.
“Incredible performance India! Despite so many injuries and setbacks, India have pulled off an astonishing series win. Congratulations to the Indian team, this series will be remembered for a long time.” I think as it is we are facing a shortage of quality talent so what is coming through needs to be groomed properly by our former greats. They can do a lot with these young players,” tweeted Shahid Afridi.
