There Is No Need To Give A Break To Virat Kohli – Rajkumar Sharma

Virat Kohli’s childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma has said that the former India National Cricket Team captain doesn’t need any break as he is “perfectly fine”.

Kohli’s struggle for runs continued in the recently concluded one-off Test against England. The modern-day great was able to score only 11 runs in the first innings before being dismissed by Matthew Potts and 20 runs in the second innings before being dismissed by Ben Stokes.

Virat Kohli’s childhood coach Rajkumar Sharma said that the ball on which Kohli lost his wicket in the second innings of the Edgbaston Test was unplayable. He added that Kohli has done things for India that no other player has ever done and he was confident that the star batter will bounce back strong.

“See, I understand that he (Virat Kohli) has failed to give a brilliant performance for a long time now but that happens to every good player. The ball on which he lost his wicket in the second innings of the fifth Test against England, was really great and could have dismissed any batter. There is no need to give a break to Virat as he is perfectly fine,” Sharma told ANI.

“Whatever he has done for Team India till now, no other player has been able to do that. I have full faith in him and he will be back with a bang,” he added.

Virat Kohli along with Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammed Shami, Hardik Pandya and Rishabh Pant has been rested for the three-match ODI series against the West Indies, which will be played after the 6-match limited-overs series between India and England.
