India defeated England in the T20 World Cup semi-final in Guyana to confirm their spot in the ICC T20 World Cup final on Saturday under Rohit Sharma's captaincy. This is the first time they made it to the finals of the World Cup since 2014.

India completed a revenge against England as well from the last T20 World Cup. England got the better of India in that match and India got their revenge in this game. They posted 171 batting first and bowled out the opposition for a paltry 103.

Star Sports expert panels, Navjot Singh Sindhu, Piyush Chawla, Ishant Sharma, and Sreesanth lauded the Indian team on their brilliant win. Everyone shared their reaction to the famous win by India. Sreesanth however, went to the extent of roasting the England team and asked them to meet Pakistan and Australia, the teams India beat in this World Cup.

It Was A One-Side Win: Sreesanth on India's Win Over England

"Revenge? Yeh to one-sided (win) tha. Isko revenge nahi bolte. Isko bolte hai khushi khushi ghar bhejna (this was a one-sided win; this is not called revenge; this is called happily seeing them off home)," said Sreesanth in a Star Sports video when asked if India have taken their revenge for the semifinal defeat in the 2022 edition of the tournament.

"Bhai ja ke training karo aur baad mei aao. Pakistan and Australia waise bhi ghar pe hain, jaa ke unse bhi mulaqaat kar lena (guys, go back, train and then come later; Pakistan and Australia are also at home, go and meet them)," he further added.

Sidhu on his par lauded the Indian spin trio of Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, and Ravindra Jadejs for spinning a web around the England batters. Piyush Chawla and Ishant Sharma sent the team best wishes for the final on July 29th.

India scored 171 after being asked to bat first by England. Rohit Sharma scored 57 to give his team a brilliant start. SKY scored a crucial 47 following which cameos from Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, and Axar Patel took them to that competitive score.

Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel then took three wickets each and along with Jaspeit Bumrah who took two wickets disrupted and dismantled the England chase. Team India won the match by 68 runs to complete a thoroughly dominating performance. India's win won them a lot of accolades from former cricketers and experts.

Team India has now beaten Ireland, the USA, Pakistan, Australia, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, and England in their quest to win their second T20 World Cup title. They found a way to win a few close games and had the belief in the side. Rohit Sharma has led the team beautifully and walked the talk of being aggressive with the bat.

Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah have now accounted for 28 wickets together with the left-armer taking 15 wickets and Bumraj 13 so far.

This is also India's second-longest winning streak and most wins (7) for them in a single edition of the T20 World Cup. India and South Africa are both unbeaten and the unbeaten streak for one of these teams will end in the final. The team that wins the World Cup will have an unbeaten streak throughout the competition.
