Indian skipper Virat Kohli has congratulated the Indian cricket team after they registered a scintillating win over Australia in the Border-Gavaskar trophy. Notably, the Indian cricket team had lost the first Test of the series in Adelaide as they registered their lowest-ever total and were bowled out for 36 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli had returned back to India as he was granted paternal leave by the BCCI. His wife, Anushka Sharma gave birth to their daughter on January 11. Team India Registers Historic Win Over Australia

The win over Australia is none short than a historic feat. Australia were beaten for the first time in 32 years at the Gabba. The Australian Cricket Team had been unbeaten in the last 32 games at the Gabba and the Indian cricket team broke this record too. This was India’s third-highest successful run chase in Test cricket.

Now, the Indian Cricket Team will take on England in the Test series from February 5 at home. The Indian selection committee will choose the team for the first two Tests on Tuesday.
