Virat Kohli's exceptional fitness and endless energy on the field are proof of his dedication and passion for the game.

Known for his rigorous training regime, Virat Kohli always maintains an exceptional level of fitness that fuels his explosive performances on the field and relentless pursuit of excellence.

The former Indian cricket team captain’s high intensity and lively presence on the field energize the entire team. Virat Kohli’s passion for the game is well-documented in his every sprint, every shot, and every celebration.

The Indian batting maestro’s relentless focus and hunger for runs make him one of the most iconic and passionate players the game has ever seen.

Virat Kohli is from a different planet: R Sridhar

Recently, Team India’s former fielding coach R Sridhar opened up about a message shared by Virat Kohli, emphasizing the importance of giving your all in every aspect of life, no matter how small.

Sridhar believes that there's a lot to learn from Virat Kohli's approach, but, unfortunately, not everyone can harness this mindset in their own lives.

He further revealed that he often joked with Virat Kohli about his superhuman energy, wondering if he was from another planet, like Krypton. Sridhar said that Kohli's relentless drive and energy are nothing short of extraordinary and deeply inspiring.

Sridhar said on Anubhav Talks: “It's only a very small part of your life, so what is the point in not giving it your all? That's what he said recently in an interview. There's so much for us to pick up from that. It's unfortunate that not many can try and get inspired by it and use that template in their own personal lives.

He is from a different planet. I kept asking him sometimes when I was with the team. 'Have you had kryptonite or something?' He always replied with a smile. 'Are you from Krypton? You're surely not from Earth?' Where does this energy come from, and he'll always smile. It's unbelievable. What an inspiration.”

Opponents fear provoking Kohli, says Sridhar

Meanwhile, the former Indian fielding coach highlighted how Kohli thrives under pressure, especially when he's doubted or teased by anyone.

Sridhar further noted that Kohli's performance is exceptional in such situations, to the point where rivals prefer to avoid provoking him.

He said that the opposition teams often choose to let Kohli play his game rather than engage with him, knowing that any confrontation could lead to the right-hander dominating the match so decisively that it would be difficult for them to recover.

Sridhar signed off by saying, “He performs anyway, anytime. But it is a well-documented fact that he performs well, especially when he is doubted, has a banter, or someone says something about him.

That's why when you're sitting in the opposition, all teams say just one thing: 'Please leave him alone. Let him come; let him smash us; no problem. Just don't pick up an argument with him or needle him. Otherwise, he will hammer us to the extent from where we won't even come back in the game'.

Kohli was recently seen in action in the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka, where the Men in Blue suffered a 0-2 series loss to the hosts.

He will now be seen in action in the upcoming two-match Test series against Bangladesh, starting on September 19 in Chennai.
