India National Cricket Team star wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has described his year 2023 with a brilliant 5-word post on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).

The 26-year-old has missed all of the cricketing action since last December and he is not expected to make his competitive cricket comeback anytime soon.

The things that have kept him out of action are the injuries that he sustained following his horrific car accident on December 30, 2022. Pant was involved in a tragic accident as his car collided with the divider railings on the Delhi-Haridwar highway.

He sustained several injuries and underwent surgery. Now, Pant is recovering well and started his rehabilitation program. He has posted several pictures and videos of his training sessions on his official social media handles to keep the fans updated.

Meanwhile, Rishabh Pant reflected on his year 2023 with a social media post. He stated that the year was a tough one for him, but he got to learn a lot from it. Pant replied to an X post: “Tough and lot’s of learning.”

Rishabh Pant To Make His Comeback In IPL 2024, Set To Play As Impact Player

According to the reports in RevSportz, the Delhi Capitals (DC) are expecting Rishabh Pant to be available for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 and he is part of the leadership group that will be making decisions for the team.

However, the DC management is taking it easy with his recovery and rehabilitation and has no plans to rush him. The reports suggest that wicketkeeper-batter will be used as an impact player in most of the games in the IPL 2024 and he is not expected to keep wickets for the team in the upcoming season.

The return of Rishabh Pant will be a massive boost for the team as they had a poor campaign in the IPL 2023 under the leadership of David Warner. DC only won 5 matches out of 14 and finished at the 9th spot on the 10-team points table.
