Fans on Twitter didn't go easy on Virat Kohli's wife, Anushka Sharma, after the premier India National Cricket Team batter announced his retirement from Test cricket. His decision came on Monday (12th May) through a social media post.

India National Cricket Team batter Virat Kohli made a shocking Test retirement announcement. The batter posted a big message on his Instagram account and reflected on the learnings that he will be taking forward from the longest format of the game.

Virat Kohli mentions that it wasn't an easy decision for him to retire from Test cricket

Virat Kohli openly mentioned that it wasn't an easy decision for him, but he felt that it was the right call at the right time. In the end, he mentioned that he would always look back on his career with a smile, adding that he gave everything that he had and got double of it in return.

In the 123 games that he played in Test cricket, Virat Kohli scored 9,230 runs at an average of 46.85. His tally also included 30 Test tons and 31 fifties. Kohli's last came against Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground, which didn't go the way he wanted.
