GT bowlers had the power play

Coming to the match, there was a toss controversy, as it happened twice after the match referee failed to hear Riyan Parag’s call for the first time, when GT won it, and the second time it was RR who won the toss and elected to bat first. The Royals played the same team, but the Titans made one change from their last loss vs RCB.

After choosing to bat first, Yashasvi Jaiswal went back early, and Dhruv Jurel also could not trouble the GT bowlers as they went back for 1 and 7 runs, respectively. Ravindra Jadeja surprisingly came in at no.4 and played a handy knock of 34 runs off 19 before being retired hurt.
