India’s latest spin bowling sensation Varun Chakravarthy was, on Saturday, named in the 19-man squad for the forthcoming 5-match T20I series against England which will commence on 12th March in Ahmedabad.

Varun Chakravarthy, in fact, after a revealing IPL 2020 in the UAE was named in the squad to tour Australia. However, the mystery spinner missed out on the Tour Down Under owing to a shoulder injury.

The Karnataka-born spinner was absolutely brilliant for the Kolkata Knight Riders last season where he ended up as the leading wicket-taker for his franchise with 17 scalps, including a five-for, at a staggering economy of 6.84.
