Virat Kohli And Anushka Sharma Expecting Second Child: Report

India cricket superstar Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma are reportedly expecting their second child. After dating each other for nearly five years, they had tied the knot in December 2017 in an intimate ceremony held in Italy.
Four years later in 2021, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were blessed with their first child. They became the proud parents of a daughter, who was named Vamika. The former India skipper had famously returned home from Australia after the first Test of the four-match series to be with his pregnant wife.
And according to a report in the Hindustan Times, they are expecting their second baby. Quoting a source, the news outlet reported that the cricketer and the Bollywood actress will share the good news with their fans and followers later.
“Anushka is expecting her second baby. Like the last time, they will formally share the news with the world at a later stage,” the source said.
The news outlet further quoted another source as saying that Virat Kohli and Anushka were recently spotted at a maternity clinic in Mumbai.
“They requested the paparazzi to not publish their pictures, with a promise to make an announcement soon,” the source said.
The pregnancy is reportedly one of the reasons why Anushka Sharma is not traveling with her husband or attending cricket matches like she used to do earlier.

On the cricket field, Virat Kohli will be eyeing more glory. Having already won the ODI World Cup once in 2011, he will be desperate to win the coveted trophy once again this year. India’s fate in the competition will depend a lot on how the former India captain performs.
If India go on to win the World Cup, Virat Kohli and his teammate Ravichandran Ashwin will become the only Indian players to win the ODI World Cup twice. Both the players had played in the 2011 edition. The right-handed batsman has also looked in good form in ODIs this year. In 16 ODIs this year, he has scored 612 runs with the help of 3 centuries and 2 fifties.
