RCB is preparing with Virat Kohli to defend their title in 2026
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will start their campaign on March 28. RCB will be in the opener of the tournament as they claimed the IPL 2025 trophy. They won their maiden IPL title after waiting for 18 long years. Kohli was the center of the stage during the successful campaign.
Kohli, the batting maestro of the Indian cricket team, wished to settle down in London. After taking retirements from the T20Is and Tests, he often stayed in the UK with his wife Anuskha Sharma and the children during his free time.
Currently, he is in India for the Indian Premier League 2026. RCB has already started its preparations for the season ahead. The franchise has recently shared a video from their training sessions, where the fans can see how Virat was trying to motivate the players. Virat asked everyone to put their best as every team will come hard in the upcoming season.
“We worked really hard over the last two to three seasons to achieve what we did last year, and it’s only going to get tougher because the other teams are going to come hard at us. We don’t waste these days."
"We stay ahead. So, switch on now. Let’s not waste even a minute of every session we are a part of. We must give our 120% for these two and a half months. I can see from everyone’s faces that we are excited enough to be challenged", Kohli said to his RCB teammates.
Account crashed after the viral story!
Meanwhile, the media house, which reported on Kohli’s demand, shared an Instagram story to thank its followers. They claimed that their account crashed after the story related to the former RCB captain. “Our account crashed after Virat Kohli’s story,” the Instagram story reads.
