Australia women's captain Alyssa Healy and former Australia wicketkeeper Brad Haddin reckon that Virat Kohli is the most aesthetically pleasing batsman to watch in the current generation. Kohli has an excellent record against Australia and Australians consider him as one of their biggest competitors.

Virat Kohli will be in action against Australia in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 to be played later this year. The series will comprise five Tests and Kohli is expected to play a key role throughout five Test matches

Over the years, Virat Kohli has established himself as one of the most consistent batters in world cricket and has won India a no. of games with his sheer batting performance. Not only does he score runs, but Kohli's elegance is something that makes him a delight to watch.

Alyssa Healy and Brad Haddin hail Virat Kohli

During a conversation on the podcast 'Willow Talk on 'The LiSTNR Sport YouTube channel, Alyssa Healy and Brad Haddin were asked about the most aesthetically pleasing batsman to watch in the current generation. Alyssa Healy named Kohli as her No. 1 pick and Williamson as the second best.

On the other hand, Brad Haddin named all four batters of the Fab 4 in the given order Virat Kohli, Steve Smith, Joe Root, Kane Williamson. All these four batters come under the Fab 4 of the current generation and have achieved unprecedented success in their respective careers.

Virat Kohli is easily the most followed cricketer of this generation. His shots are always pleasing to watch, especially his trademark cover drive. Over the years, he has transformed himself as a big matchwinner in all the formats.

While all the batters in the Fab 4 are the greatest in this generation, Virat Kohli has been the only one among all of them who has excelled in all three formats of the game. Kohli has fabulous records and is the only one on the list to average above 48 in all the formats.

Virat Kohli has played 113 Tests, 295 ODIs, and 125 T20Is in his international career so far. His numbers are insane as he has scored close to 27000 runs combined in all the formats so far at an average of 53.35. He is fourth on the list of highest run-scorers in international cricket with 80 hundreds and 140 fifties to his name.

Virat Kohli's ICC trophies list

Virat Kohli has at least one ICC title in all the formats. He was a part of India's 2011 ODI World Cup-winning team, 2013 Champions Trophy-winning team, and T20 World Cup 2024-winning squad.

The T20 World Cup achievement is still etched in the memories of cricket fans when Kohli played a match-winning knock in the final to help India lift the title. After taking India to the title win, the 35-year-old announced his retirement from the T20I format.

Kohli will be in action in India's upcoming two-match Test series against Bangladesh. The series is scheduled to begin on September 19 in Chennai while the second Test will be played in Kanpur.
