Vishnu Vinod Bought By Punjab Kings For INR 95 lakh at IPL Auction 2025

Vishnu Vinod has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of 30 lakh. The 30-year-old is a wicketkeeper-batsman and plies his trade for Kerala in domestic cricket.
He has played 29 first-class games so far and has scored 1060 runs with the help of two centuries and as many half-centuries. In List A cricket, he has scored 1773 runs in 53 games with the help of six centuries and four fifties. Vinod has also hit 81 sixes in the 50-over format.
The Kerala star has an impressive record in T20s as well. He has played 61 games so far and has scored 1591 runs with the help of a century and eight fifties. He has hit 80 sixes in the shortest format of the game.
In the IPL, Vishnu has been a part of four IPL teams so far - Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Sunrisers Hyderabad. However, he has only played for Bengaluru and Mumbai in the competition so far. So far, he has played only 6 games and scored 56 runs.

Punjab Kings have signed up Vishnu Vinod for INR 95 lakh at the IPL 2025 mega auction. Kolkata Knight Riders made the opening bid at 30 lakh before Punjab Kings entered the race.
Kolkata Knight Riders made one more bid before being replaced by Mumbai Indians. In the end, Punjab Kings made the winning bid.
