Delhi Capitals (DC) batter Tristan Stubbs had a decent outing with the bat in the ongoing game against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the IPL 2025. The match between the two teams is taking place at the Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

Tristan Stubbs kept Delhi Capitals in the hunt in the chase of 210 after the team lost early wickets. The South Africa National Cricket Team batter played some magnificent shots in his innings and gave a real scare to the Lucknow Super Giants players.

Stubbs tried to up the ante during the 13th as he put M Siddharth under massive pressure. The Delhi Capitals batter slammed two back-to-back sixes on the first two balls and changed the momentum of the game.

After the two balls, the umpire changed the ball and it changed the luck as well. M Siddharth went on to remove Tristan Stubbs as he produced a peach of a delivery to send the Delhi Capitals batter packing at the crucial juncture of the game.

M Siddharth, with the change of the ball, found some grip as he fired the ball on a good length around his leg. The ball gripped and turned to take Tristan Stubbs by surprise as he got beaten on the outside edge. The ball took a deflection off the back thigh and crashed into the stumps.

What caught the attention of many was the reaction of Tristan Stubbs after he got out. The batter was livid with the ball change and was seen expressing his anger.

Stubbs ended with the innings of 34 runs off 22 balls. The Delhi Capitals batter had a strike rate of around 155 as he slammed 1 four and 3 sixes during his stay. After he got out, it was almost certain that Lucknow Super Giants would end up winning the game easily.

But Ashutosh Sharma came up with the blinder of an innings as he slammed a magnificent half-century and took his team to the win from the jaws of defeat. The batter timed the ball to perfection, and even though he lost wickets at the other end, he held his nerves.

Ashutosh Sharma ended with an innings of unbeaten 66 runs off 31 balls. The right-hander had a strike rate of over 212 and also slammed 5 fours and 5 sixes in his innings. His stellar innings sealed the game for Delhi Capitals by the margin of just one wicket.
