Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma abuse Kuldeep Yadav after missed run-out opportunity
Kuldeep bowled a full delivery on off-stump, and Smith stepped forward to flick it towards deep mid-wicket for a single and created a chance for the Men in Blue. A powerful throw came in from the deep, but Kuldeep failed to make the most of the gifted chance by Smith.
As the ball passed the Australian skipper, Rohit Sharma collected it at cover, but the Indian skipper wasn’t too pleased and was mouthful. Rohit said to Kuldeep that he should have picked the ball before bursting out in anger by saying M*******d.
Later, Virat Kohli also vented his anger at the wrist spinner for his error, as it handed Smith another chance to trouble the Indian team. As the frustration boiled over, Kohli can be heard saying, Abey Beh**d to Kuldeep in the heated moment before taking his fielding position.

Well, Kuldeep Yadav has made the same error again, as he couldn’t collect a throw from the deep and once again faced the fury of the Indian captain, as Ben Dwarshuis and Alex Carey were trying to bring the Australian innings back into the track in the ongoing semifinal.
Mohammed Shami gets the big fish in Steve Smith
However, Mohammed Shami managed to catch the big fish in the 37th over, as Smith was sent back to the dugout after playing a brilliant knock of 73 runs off 96 balls, including four boundaries and a six, to give a much-needed relief to the Men in Blue in the ongoing CT 2025 semifinal clash in Dubai.
Smith attempted to step down the track and drive a low full toss over extra cover against Shami. However, the Australian skipper completely missed the ball, which crashed into the off-stump. Smith looked frustrated as he walked back, shaking his head in disappointment.
Well, Alex Carely also completed his fifty as Australia crossed the 240-run mark against India in the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai. For India, Varun Chakravarthy, Ravindra Jadeja, and Mohammed Shami each scalped two wickets against Australia.
Why Indian players wear black armbands?
Meanwhile, Team India is honoring the late Padmakar Shivalkar by wearing black armbands during the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 semifinal against Australia. The legendary left-arm spinner, who made a significant impact in Indian domestic cricket, passed away at the age of 84 on March 3.
Shivalkar was a legendary figure of Mumbai cricket, taking 589 wickets in 124 first-class matches. Despite never playing for India, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also paid tribute to Shivalkar, acknowledging his remarkable legacy in the domestic arena.
