Ben Stokes Seeks Draw But India Refuse On Day 5
India National Cricket Team players Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, and Washington Sundar's exceptional performances ensured that the visitors avoided a defeat in the fourth Test.
Aforementioned players batted brilliantly and took India to 386/4 at the end of 138 overs. With 15 overs and one hour remaining, English skipper Ben Stokes made peace with the fact that the match would end in a draw.
Hence, Ben Stokes walked up to Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar to shake hands to call it a draw. However, the request was turned down by Ravindra Jadeja (89*) and Washington Sundar (80*) as the duo wanted to play more with hundreds in their sights.
As India refused to shake hands, Stokes was left furious and, along with other English players, was seen having a go at the Indian all-rounders.

The Bazballing Team England players, who don't play for the draw, lost their minds after Jadeja and Sundar's refusal to shake hands and were seen passing some nasty and abusive comments at the Indian all-rounders.
Here are some things that the English players said during the heated moment:
1 - "If you wanted a 100, you should have played for it earlier."
2 - "You want to score a 100 against Brook?"
3- "You could have walked off man."
4- "F****** hell, Washy, get on with it! Get on with it, mate!"
5 - "You don't need to chat," indicating that Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja do not need to spend time talking to each other in the middle.
It is a shame that it will be remembered a bit like that - Sir Alastair Cook
Speaking on BBC Test Match Special, the former England skipper Sir Alastair Cook lavished rich praise on Washington Sundar for his ton, but said that the way it will be remembered is a shame. He said:
"Washington Sundar played brilliantly, and that was a brilliant 100, but it is a shame that it will be remembered a bit like that. But I can absolutely understand why his captain let him go get his hundred."
Meanwhile, former England skipper Michael Vaughan said that Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar earned the right to complete their tons. He said:
"I admired the ending. The young captain and the two out in the middle could have shook hands but they earned the right to get their hundred and have that moment. That dressing room will be absolutely delighted for Washington Sundar for his maiden hundred.
"They will look back at their selections as they got that wrong but they have figured out that Ben Stokes is clearly their best bowler."
