India's captain Rohit Sharma is known to speak his heart out when he is talking to his players. During the Champions Trophy 2025 final between India and New Zealand in Dubai, Rohit was utterly disappointed after a phase of the game.

Allrounder Hardik Pandya bowled the fourth over of the match and conceded 16 runs as Rachin Ravindra smashed him for a six and 2 fours. After the last ball of the over went for a four, Rohit Sharma said, "Behen...d" to Hardik Pandya.

The bowler was equally dejected after conceding 16 runs in an over. India had conceded just 10 runs in the first three overs and this over released all the pressure. It also turned out to be the last over for Pandya in this spell.

Rohit Sharma was clearly unhappy as all the pressure was released after this over. It gave New Zealand the much-required momentum and they made full use of it by scoring some quick runs in the next few overs.

Hardik Pandya conceded just 2 runs in his first over but went for 16 in his next one. The allrounder has been opening the bowling for India ever since the team decided to play with four spinners which ruled Harshit Rana out of the Playing XI.

He will be expected to play an important role with the bat. Pandya played a key knock of 28 off 24 balls to help India win the semi-final against Australia. He is a big-match player and India will need his services with the bat.

Rachin Ravindra starts well for New Zealand

Earlier, New Zealand won an important toss and decided to bat first. Rohit Sharma lost his 12th toss in a row and equalled Brian Lara's unwanted record for losing the most no. of tosses by a captain.

New Zealand started in a brisk fashion with Rachin Ravindra taking the attack to the opposition. The left-hander was at his elegant best and smashed some eye-catching shots during his short stay at the crease.

Varun Chakravarthy gave India the opening breakthrough by picking up the big wicket of Will Young for just 15. It was just an opening that India needed and they made the most of this moment.

Kuldeep Yadav provides the big wickets

Rachin Ravindra was finally dismissed after being dropped once by Shreyas Iyer. The left-hander was bowled through the gate by a googly from Kuldeep Yadav. He scored a fiery 37 off just 29 balls which included 4 fours and 1 six.

Kuldeep struck again later to give India another vital breakthrough in the form of Kane Williamson. The wicket of Williamson brought India back into the game as the spinners started taking control.

After a brief partnership for the fourth wicket, Tom Latham was trapped in front by Ravindra Jadeja. Glenn Phillips arrived at No. 6 and played according to the situation.

Phillips scored a good-looking 34 off 52 balls before he was bowled by Varun Chakravarthy. The last few overs will be essential for both teams as they can also decide the course of the game.
