Legendary Australian pacer Brett Lee is regarded as one of the quickest pacers to step foot into the international cricket scene, in a video going viral on social media, he was seen having some fun with his son Preston while playing the front yard cricket.
Lee showed no mercy on his son during the match and castled him with a toe crushing yorker, dismantling the middle stump. Former Australia all-rounder and Brett’s brother Shane Lee took to Instagram to share the video of father and son playing cricket together in the ‘front yard’.
“Front yard cricket with the Lee’s. @brettlee_58 to @1prestonlee Bowled for 112,” Shane captioned the post.

Meanwhile, Brett Lee was delighted to destroy the stumps and he erupted in joy and jogged down raising his fingers as Shane could be heard saying ‘See you, Preston’. Notably, the legendary Aussie pacer Brett Lee even commented on the video uploaded by Shane on Instagram, he wrote: “Oh yeh !!!!! Pack your bags Presto”, along with a laughing emoji.

Talking about Brett Lee’s enormously successful career, he represented Australia National Cricket Team in 76 games in the longest format of the game and bagged 310 wickets at an economy of 3.46 and an average of 30.8. He played 221 One Day Internationals games and claimed 380 wickets at an economy of 4.76 an average of 23.4. Also, he played 25 T20 Internationals and bagged 28 wickets at an economy of 7.86 and an average of 25.5.
Meanwhile, Lee made his international debut in the Boxing Day Test against India back in 1999 and bagged a 5-wicket haul, during his prime he was known for bowling deliveries over 150 kph.

Overall he picked 718 international wickets and Brett Lee retired from Test cricket in 2008 and from ODIs in 2012. After saying goodbye to cricket, Lee became a broadcaster and commentator and he has been involved in domestic T20 leagues like BBL and IPL.
