Young India National Cricket Team gloveman Dhruv Jurel took an absolute blinder to dismiss the England National Cricket Team modern-day batting great Joe Root in the fifth Test match.
The fifth and final Test match of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025 between India and England is currently underway at Kennington Oval in London.

Joe Root plays a magnificent knock
While chasing a big target of 374 runs in the final innings of the fifth Test, Joe Root took the responsibility and played an exceptional knock.
He built a crucial partnership with Harry Brook of 195 runs that put India under tremendous pressure. Root looked unstoppable in the middle, and he completed his century in the 69th over.
He celebrated his century in style by donning a white headband to pay a classy tribute to Graham Thorpe, and it was his 39th ton for Root in Test cricket.
After the wicket of Harry Brook and Jacob Bethell, Joe Root came under slight pressure and was eventually dismissed by his nemesis Prasidh Krishna in the 73rd over.
On the final ball of the over, Prasidh Krishna bowled a short-of-a-length outside off-stump to Joe Root, who pushed it away from his body.
However, he only managed to get a thick edge, and the ball flew towards Dhruv Jurel, who dived and pulled off a stunning catch to end Root's innings for 105 runs off 152 balls.

A truly magnificent Test cricketer - Nasser Hussain
Speaking on Sky Sports, former England skipper Nasser Hussain said that Root is a magnificent Test cricketer and he is in the form of his life. He said:
"A truly magnificent Test cricketer in the form of his life. England's present No 4 will never forget the previous No 4 that meant so much to him."
Nasser Hussain also reckoned that Root played the best cover drives of his career in the ongoing match.
"Root has played in a Root way, barely playing a shot in anger and just stroking the ball. I don't know if I have ever seen him play the cover drive as well as he has today - which is a big statement because he cover drives so well. While he is there, England will feel comfortable."
Also, speaking earlier during the tea break, Nasser Hussain said that Mohammed Siraj's dropped catch of Harry Brook might cost India the series. He said:
"Siraj has done so much in the series - leading wicket-taker, all his heart and passion - but may be remembered for the catch that wasn't [when Brook was on 19]. That is the game, I'm afraid and that was a game-changing moment. If Brook goes there, England may have been in a bit of bother. Does Siraj have anything left now? That light on the petrol gauge is on..."
