Virat Kohli was absolutely pumped up after Riyan Parag dismissed Charith Asalanka in the ongoing third ODI between India and Sri Lanka at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
The game started on a good note for Sri Lanka as they won the toss and opted to bat first. Their openers Pathum Nissanka and Avishka Fernando gave them a solid start by adding 89 runs for the first wicket. India finally had their first breakthrough in the 20th over when Axar Patel sent back Nissanka for 45 runs.
Sri Lanka, however, quickly recovered as Avishka and Kusal Mendis did not let India capitalize on the breakthrough. The duo set the foundation for a big total by adding 82 runs for the second wicket. Riyan Parag broke the stand by dismissing a well-set Avishka to give India a crucial wicket. Avishka departed after scoring 96 runs from 102 balls with the help of 9 fours and 2 sixes.
12 runs later, Riyan Parag struck again to give India another wicket when he sent back Sri Lanka captain Charith Asalanka. On the first ball of the 38th over, the left-handed batsman hit the India debutant for a six. However, the youngster had the last laugh as he dismissed Asalanka on the final ball of the over.
Asalanka was given out LBW after he failed to make any contact with the ball while trying to play on the leg side. He opted for a review but it did not make any difference as the replays showed that he was out. And as Asalanka was dismissed, not only Riyan Parag but Virat Kohli also celebrated the wicket in an animated fashion.
Virat Kohli let out a huge roar and gave Asalanka a fiery send-off as he seemingly said: "Hutt, beh**n***d."

Meanwhile, India have clawed their way back into the game by taking some quick wickets. At the time of writing this report, Sri Lanka were reeling at 200 for 6 in the 44th over. After dismissing Fernando and Asalanka, Riyan Parag dismissed in-form Dunith Wellalage as well to put India on the front foot.
