Star Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah came up with funny antics when he imitated Australian batsman Steve Smith on Day 1 of the third Test between India and Australia. Team India took on Australia in the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar trophy at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Thursday.
The Aussies won the toss and elected to bat first. Australian opener David Warner returned to the side but soon returned to the pavilion as he was the first wicket on the day. However, Will Pucovski and Marnus Labuschagne stitched together a beautiful century stand as both the batsmen scored magnificent half-centuries.
Jasprit Bumrah Hilariously Imitates Steve Smith
As Will Pucovski headed back to the pavilion, Steve Smith came to the forefront. Smith has not had a great series so far and on Thursday, he seemed to counter-attack right from the first ball. He attacked all the Indian bowlers from the first go including star Indian bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and R Ashwin. Smith played an aggressive brand of cricket.

Australia Right On Top As Day 1 Of The Sydney Test Comes To A Close
The Australian Cricket Team are right on top of their game in the Sydney Test. Leaving aside David Warner, all the Australian batsmen looked in fine touch on Day 1 of the Sydney Test match. Smith and Labuschagne had also stitched a beautiful partnership after Pucovski’s dismissal and the two batsmen kept ticking off the scoreboard at a quick rate.

The Indian team, on the contrary, has looked out of shape in the series for the first time after their debacle in Adelaide. Navdeep Saini, the debutant has leaked a lot of runs on his debut and they would like to counter-attack the Australian batsmen when they come out to bowl on the second day.
