India, playing on Day 3 of the First Test at Ahmedabad, declared their innings earlier this morning. Since then, the bowlers have dominated the Windies batters, as they had already extended a huge lead over the Windies' first innings total of 162.

With India leading by 286 runs in the first innings, the West Indies are now 4 wickets down with less than 50 runs on the board, as Indian spinners dominate on a semi-old track. Unlike the first innings, where Shubman Gill largely relied on his seamers, he quickly resorted to his spinners in the second innings.

India took a huge lead with three players hitting massive hundreds. KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja and Dhruv Jurel all scored centuries to hand India a massive lead. Jadeja remained not out for 104* and continued his excellent form from the England tour.

Watch: Kuldeep Yadav tricks West Indies skipper, knocks out his off-stump in epic battle

With Nitish Kumar Reddy's Superman catch drawing the first blood for India, Ravindra Jadeja, the centurion from the first innings, has now backed the Baggy Blue with 2 more wickets in his opening spell. Brought in early, Jadeja picked the wickets of opener John Campbell and Brandon King.

Kuldeep Yadav, the spinner returning to the longest format of the game, has spun a web of deceit in front of West Indies skipper Roston Chase in the second innings of the first Test at Ahmedabad.

Kuldeep, who is at the peak of his prowess now, set Chase up with fuller deliveries and dragged his length slightly back to deceive the captain. The ball drifted down sharply and went on to knock his off-stump out.

Ravindra Jadeja picks up a three-wicket haul ahead of Lunch

Unlike the first innings, where the new ball was shared by Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah, Shubman Gill soon handed the ball to spinner Ravindra Jadeja. The left-arm all-rounder bowled an economical spell in the very first session on Day 3.

Ravindra Jadeja handed India their second breakthrough with Sai Sudharsan taking a sharp grab to dismiss the Windies opener John Campbell. On the other end, Brandon King was also caught at first slip by KL Rahul.

Jadeja's final wicket came just at the stroke of Lunch, when he dismissed Shai Hope for one run, after Yashasvi Jaiswal took another sharp catch diving forward when Hope played an aerial cut short on a shorter ball off Jadeja.

Nitish Kumar Reddy, Sai Sudharsan and Yashasvi Jaiswal dictate India's stunning outing on the field

With the spinner in the attack, the Indian fielders needed to be at their all-time best in order to exert pressure on the opposition. Nitish Kumar Reddy was the first player to initiate the saga of stunning efforts on the field.

He flew towards his left to take a stunning catch that dismissed Tagenarine Chanderpaul off Mohammed Siraj's bowling. This marked Siraj's 5th wicket in the match. He further continued his stunning efforts, saving several runs on the field.

Yashasvi Jaiswal, often criticised for his butterfingers, has also held onto the ball fantastically this time around and has stunned all with his fielding at gully. He dove, leapt and ran to stop the ball in every way needed. India's dedication might help India seal the match by an innings.
