Musheer Khan on Saturday (28th September) faced a life-threatening accident and it shook the entire cricket fraternity. The batter was traveling from Azamgarh to Lucknow to join the Mumbai team for the game against the Rest of India in the Irani Cup 2024.
But on his way back, he met with an accident as his car hit the divider and flipped a few times. He was rushed to the hospital where it was revealed that Musheer had suffered a fracture in his neck but thankfully there were no other serious injury concerns as he was pretty stable after being in hospital for a few hours.
A day after his incident, Musheer gave his first public appearance and updated his fans about his health. The batter posted a video on his Instagram account where he was standing wearing a neck brace. He mentioned that he is doing well now and his father is also fine. He said:
“First of all, I would like to thank Allah for this new life. I am fine now. My father was with me, he is also fine now. I would like to thank you all for your prayers."
There have been reports that the next fracture will keep Musheer out of action for almost three months. This means that the batter will be missing the upcoming Irani Cup 2024 match against the Rest of India along with the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 for Mumbai.
