Star Australia fast bowler Pat Cummins created history during the Super Eight match against Afghanistan in the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. Pat Cummins became the first player to secure two back-to-back hat-tricks in a single edition of the ICC tournament in the shorter format of the game.
Pat Cummins picked up a hat-trick in the previous game against Bangladesh in the T20 World Cup 2024. It was the right-arm pacer's maiden hat-trick in T20 internationals. Cummins continued his form against Afghanistan and clinched his second hat-trick in the shorter format of international cricket.
Australian skipper Mitchell Marsh won the toss and opted to bowl first at the Arnos Vale Ground in St Vincent, on Saturday, June 22 (local time).
