Marco Jansen gets out for 1, Preity Zinta dejected

Punjab Kings' power-packed batting line-up failed miserably in the ongoing match of the Indian Premier League 2025. They had a terrible outing and got bundled out for 111 in 15.3 overs.

The pitch on the offer for the PBKS vs KKR match is mostly a flat one and the poor outing of the Shreyas Iyer-led side was mainly because of the over-aggresion from the batters as well as poor shots.

One of the poorest shots came from the bat of Marco Jansen as he got out in a disastrous fashion and walked back to the hut after registering 1 run off 2 balls.

On the last ball of the 11th over, Sunil Narine bowled a length ball to Marco Jansen. The Proteas star Marco Jansen shockingly walked down the track and ended up yorking himself as the ball beat his bat and crashed into the stumps.

After the pathetic dismissal of Marco Jansen, the Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta, who was sitting in the stands looked quite disappointed.

We are really happy with where we are at the moment - Glenn Maxwell

Speaking ahead of the match, Punjab Kings all-rounder Glenn Maxwell said that the vibes in the PBKS camp are quite positive and they are happy with their performance. He said:

"It's nice to be back at our home ground. Obviously, it was an interesting game against Hyderabad. Plenty of runs were scored in that game. We are really happy with where we are at the moment. We have a chance to go hard at the Table with four wins. We are looking forward to the competition tonight."

Glenn Maxwell, who is going through a lean patch, said that he is honored to play in the Indian Premier League, and he also spoke about the tricks he has added to his bowling. He said:

"I have spoken about it many times. The love for the game of cricket in this country is unmatched around the world. It's an absolute privilege and honor to play in this competition. I think them coming in the middle of the tournament can give you a change of perspective. I suppose it's great to have them here. Love having them on this journey."

"(Whether he has any tricks while bowling) I have got a few up my sleeve but I haven't used it much yet. I probably could've used a couple of them in the last game but no matter what I bowled in that wicket, the ball was flying. KKR have a few left-handers ton, ight so hopef, ully I get a chance to bowl tonight and use my tricks."
