LSG spinner Ravi Bishnoi was engaged in a fight with umpire Abhijit Bhattacharya for not terming out Nitish Kumar Reddy. The match between the teams is taking place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
Nitish Kumar Reddy, who walked out bat in the powerplay, led the rescue charge for the team after Sunrisers Hyderabad lost two back-to-back wickets in the powerplay. The all-rounder held the fort for his team and looked in good touch.
But, he also endured a fair share of luck as Lucknow Super Giants spinner Ravi Bishnoi almost had his wicket. On the second ball of the 11th over, the leg-spinner bowled a flat length delivery on middle and leg, to which Nitish Kumar Reddy attempted to play reverse-sweep.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad all-rounder missed the shot, and it looked out, but umpire Abhijit Bhattacharya didn't raise his finger. Ravi Bishnoi convinced skipper Rishabh Pant to go for DRS, and they challenged the on-field call.
The DRS saved Nitish Kumar Reddy by the Umpire's call on hitting. This, however, didn't go well with Ravi Bishnoi and he wasn't happy with the umpire at all. He watched the replay on the big screen and then was seen fighting with umpire Abhijit Bhattacharya, who was seen indicating to him that it was sliding down.
