Allrounder Ravindra Jadeja is known to be one of the finest fielders of all time. Jadeja is quick across the field and has a rocket arm. However, his rocket arm could have proved to be dangerous for the square leg umpire during the second ODI between India and England in Cuttack.

During the 46th over of England's innings, an incident happened which could have hurt the umpire Chris Brown badly. Batter Liam Livingstone cut a short and flat delivery from Axar Patel towards point but Ravindra Jadeja was good enough to field the ball.

Jadeja was about to throw but soon realized that the umpire Chris Brown was just in front of him. He could have taken out Brown with his rocket throw but decided against it. Jadeja even signalled that Brown was in the way which stopped him from throwing the ball.

Ravindra Jadeja further shared a laugh with the umpire as both of them enjoyed the light moment. Livingstone was successful in taking the single off that delivery.

Ravindra Jadeja's impressive bowling performance

Jadeja wasn't just sharp in the field but also had a great day with the ball. The left-arm spinner continued his good run from the last match and picked up three key wickets in this match.

He picked up the wicket of dangerous-looking Ben Duckett in his first over to land a huge blow on the opposition. Duckett was looking in excellent touch and struck 64 off 56 balls.

Jadeja's testing lines and lengths didn't allow the England's batter to get away easily. He later later dismissed England's top run-getter Joe Root and then got the wicket of Jamie Overton in his last ball of the spell.

Ravindra Jadeja finished with impressive figures of 3-35 in 10 overs. He used the little help that was available from the surface to good effect and broke important partnerships. He also emerged as India's best bowler of the day.

England post a competitive total

England finally managed a 300-plus score after electing to bat first on a good batting surface. All of their rop six batters got starts but none of them could reach the three-figure mark.

The openers gave them a good start just like the first match as they collected 81 runs in less than 11 overs. Varun Chakravarthy broke the opening stand on his ODI debut as he removed Phil Salt. Duckett was also removed soon afterwards.

But Joe Root and Harry Brook formed a good partnership before Brook was dismissed by Harshit Rana. Buttler looked in imperious form but played a bad shot to be dismissed by Hardik Pandya.

Liam Livingstone provided the late impetus to England's innings and took the score past the 300-run mark. However, England were unable to play all the 50 overs and were dismissed for 304 in 49.5 overs.
