Riyan Parag found another comical way to get out when he came in to bat in the DC vs RR Super Over in match 32 of IPL 2025. After a thrilling contest between Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals, both teams finished at 188 runs at the end of their 20 overs each.

When Rajasthan Royals won the toss in Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, they invited Delhi Capitals to bat first. Delhi had a poor start as Jake Fraser-McGurk was dismissed in the 3rd over of the game by Jofra Archer.

Riyan Parag walked in to bat at number 3 for the Royals, but he could not make an impact. Riyan Parag kept struggling and was eventually out by Axar Patel as he was clean bowled for just 8 runs off 11 balls.

Nitish Rana went on to become Rajasthan's best batter on the night as he went on to score a quickfire half-century as he stitched a solid partnership with Yashasvi Jaiswal, who also scored his 3rd half-century of IPL 2025.

However, it was Dhruv Jurel and Shimron Hetmyer who were tasked with taking Rajasthan Royals home, but a splendid last over from Mitchell Starc made sure that there was nothing to differentiate between the 2 teams in terms of their score after 20 overs each.

The DC vs RR match eventually went to the Super Over, and Mitchell Starc came out to bowl for Delhi Capitals. From the Rajasthan Royals, Riyan Parag and Shimron Hetmyer were sent with their bats.

However, comical scenes unfolded in the Super Over as Riyan Parag got out on a Free Hit after Starc bowled a no-ball on the 4th delivery. Parag and Hetmyer were involved in a horrible mixup, and Starc took the bails of at the non-strikers' end to send Riyan Parag packing to the dugout.

Yashasvi Jaiswal then came into bat for Rajasthan, and again, he was run out on the very first ball as he and Hetmyer attempted a double. All RR could manage was 11 runs in the Super Over.

KL Rahul and Tristan Stubbs came out for Delhi Capitals with the bat in the Super Over, while Sandeep Sharma took the charge with the ball for Rajasthan Royals. Thanks to a boundary from KL Rahul and a six from Stubbs, Delhi eventually sealed the deal in style and went up in the IPL points table.
