Jadeja bowled a good length ball that pitched outside off stump. The ball turned sharply to take a thin outside edge of Litton's bat and went straight to the India captain Rohit Sharma at first slip.
The ball went slowly towards Rohit who took the catch cleanly with both hands. It was the result of all the pressure created by the Indian bowlers.

It was an unusual celebration from Rohit Sharma, who was clearly elated after taking the catch. He immediately threw the ball in the air after taking the catch. It seemed like there was a plan from the bowler Ravindra Jadeja and skipper Rohit Sharma for Litton Das and it became a success.
Rohit Sharma has good hands and has taken some excellent catches in the past. He is one of the safest fielders in the Indian team currently.
Litton Das' batting form
Litton Das is one of the most in-form batters in Bangladesh's cricket team currently. He had a brilliant series against Pakistan prior to the India tour. The wicketkeeper-batter scored 194 runs in two Tests at an average of 97 with 1 hundred and 1 fifty to his name. He emerged as the third highest run-getter of the series and played a key role in Bangladesh's historic series win.
However, Litton hasn't started well on this tour. He scored 22 in the first innings of Chennai Test. He looked good for the most part of the innings but was dismissed while playing a rash shot. In the second innings, he was dismissed for just 1. In both the innings, Litton Das was dismissed by Ravindra Jadeja.
After the fall of his wicket, Bangladesh's stubborn resistance also took a big hit as the tailenders could not stay on the wicket for long. Mehidy Hasan Miraz tried to play a big shot off Ashwin but gave a simple catch to the long-on fielder.
Indian bowlers close out the match and take 1-0 lead
Skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto was the next wicket to fall as he missed out on a well deserved hundred Shanto was out for 82 and Bangladesh's hopes also ended with his downfall.
The visitors were bowled out for 234, thus losing the match by a massive margin of 280 runs. Earlier, India had given a mamoth target of 515 runs to win but Bangladesh could not even get close to it. After taking a first innings lead of 227 runs, Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant scored magnificent hundreds to help India reach an ouststanding total.
The next Test of the series will be played in Kanpur from September 27. While Bangladesh will be looking to nounce back
