India Masters captain Sachin Tendulkar set the stage on fire in the International Masters League T20 2025 against Australia Masters. The match between the two teams took place at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara.
Sachin Tendulkar turned back the clock and played a magical innings, entertaining the crowd big time with his batting. The God of Cricket opened for his team after Australia Masters set a massive total of 269 runs on the board in their quota of 20 overs.
Sachin Tendulkar took his team off to a flying start with the bat even though he didn't get any support from the other end. The opening batter displayed a magnificent stroke play as well as power-hitting, keeping his team in the hunt in the big chase of around 270.
Tendulkar, during his innings, played his favorite cuts and booming straight drives, putting pressure on the opposition. The batter timed the ball to perfection, and even at the age of 51, he showed glimpses of his prime, hitting the ball all over the park.
Sachin Tendulkar raced away to his half-century in just 27 balls as he showed great intent and kept his team in the hunt. The India Masters captain, however, couldn't continue for long as he was caught by Xavier Doherty off the bowling of Daniel Christian.

Tendulkar ended with an innings of 64 runs off 33 balls. The right-hander batted with a strike rate of over 193 and also slammed 7 fours and 4 sixes in his innings. With his wicket, India Masters lost their third wicket and were left reeling at 100/3.
The highlight of Tendulkar's innings was the two back-to-back sixes that he hit in the 3rd over. The right-hander first slammed a massive six straight over the head over the bowler and then followed it up with another hit on a pull that made the crowd go berserk.

Australia Masters win the match by 95 runs
However, after the wicket of Tendulkar, India Masters struggled to get going as they lost. Yusuf Pathan played an inning of 25 runs while the rest of the batters failed to go past the 20-run mark as they got all out for 174 runs, losing the game by 95 runs. Xavier Doherty was the pick of the bowlers for Australia Masters, picking a fifer.
Earlier, Australian Masters set the stage on fire with their batting. Shane Watson (110) and Ben Dunk (132*) slammed brutal centuries and made India master bowlers look clueless. They posted a big total of 269 runs on the board as the opposition could manage just one wicket.
