Yashasvi Jaiswal has taken international cricket by storm. The highly-rated batsman made his debut in international cricket last year during the tour of West Indies and has not looked back since then.

He played a brilliant knock of 171 runs on his debut to mark his arrival in international cricket and has further enhanced his reputation by scoring heavily in the ongoing Test series against England. In the first Test in Hyderabad, the left-handed batsman scored a quickfire 80 and missed out on a well-deserved century.

He made amends for it by scoring his first Test double century in the second Test in Vishakhapatnam. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored a brilliant 209 as India won the game by 106 runs to draw level in the series. In the third Test in Ranchi, he smashed another double century to help India thrash England by a record 434 runs. He scored an unbeaten 214 off just 236 balls in the second innings of the Test.

Yashasvi Jaiswal’s epic reply:

Yashasvi Jaiswal has delighted fans not only with his performance on the field but also with an epic response to a fan’s question. The incident took place during the ongoing fourth Test between India and England in Ranchi. As he was waving to the fans from the gallery, one of the fan asked him to tell Rohit Sharma to look towards the fans.

However, Yashasvi Jaiswal declined the fan’s request and hilariously said: “Merko bhi darr lagta hai” (I’m scared of him as well).
