Watch: "She watches..." - Radha Yadav's 'Virat Kohli' secret revealed by Jemimah Rodrigues

Delhi Capitals women cricketer Radha Yadav revealed that she watches videos of Virat Kohli before the match as it helps her to get pumped up. She made the revelation to Jemimah Rodrigues after the win against Gujarat Giants in the ongoing Women’s Premier League. 

Radha Yadav was the star with the ball for Delhi Capitals in the game against Gujarat Giants. She bowled magnificently well and helped her team win the game and earn important two points in the ongoing Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2024. 

After Delhi Capitals posted a total of 163 runs on the board, Radha Yadav made sure that she oozes her class with the ball and takes her team to victory. She bowled impeccable lines and lengths and troubled the opposition batters, making sure that she put her team in the driver’s seat in the game. 

Radha Yadav picked up three wickets in the game and gave away only 20 runs in the four overs he bowled. The India player had an economy of just 5 and helped Delhi Capitals restrict the opposition to just 138 runs win the game by 25 runs and go to the top of the table. 

After her match-winning performance, Radha Yadav had an interaction with Jemimah Rodrigues. The batter revealed that she saw the history of Radha’s YouTube account and it had Virat Kohli aggression videos, which she watches ahead of each game. Speaking in a video posted on WPL’s site, she explained 

“I want to share an interesting story: I was playing music on Radha’s phone on YouTube and you know what was there in its history – Virat Kohli aggression videos. She watches “Virat Kohli aggression videos” before every match!”

Replying to this, Radha Yadav claimed that she wants to be pumped up before every match and that is why she watches videos of Virat Kohli before every match. She also stated that she relates herself to India batter a lot. She stated: 

“Before every match, you should be pumped up. I see his videos before every match. I relate to him.”

I think we needed to bowl into the wicket, that’s what all the spinners did – Radha Yadav 

Radha Yadav, who won Player of the Match, for her heroics with the ball opened up about her performance. She said that she needed to bowl into the wicket and they were confident of defending the target of 163 runs. 

Radha Yadav also praised the crowd at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, expressing her hope to see a similar crowd at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Speaking to the broadcasters after the game,  she explained: 

“I think we needed to bowl into the wicket, that’s what all the spinners did. The pitch was slow and stopped a bit. We knew this wasn’t an easy pitch, so we were confident about defending 163. We just hope we get the same type of crowd in Delhi as well and hope they’ll come to support women’s cricket. The crowd here in Bengaluru was crazy, they just didn’t support an individual, they supported good cricket and they supported women’s cricket.” 

Radha Yadav is the leading wicket-taker in the WPL 2024. She has picked 7 wickets in the 4 games that she has played. She would be hoping to add more wickets to her tally and win more games for her team.
