Virat Kohli was just behind them, but instead of joining the discussion, he started making funny faces and playful gestures with his hands. He quietly entertained himself while Gambhir and Ishan remained completely focused on their conversation. However, the duo did not react to Kohli’s antics.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli script another historic partnership
Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli once again proved why they are one of the greatest batting pairs in cricket history. The two Indian superstars achieved another massive milestone during the third and final ODI against England at Lord's on Sunday, July 19.
Even though India could not win the match, Rohit and Kohli added 113 runs off 86 balls for the second wicket at Lord’s. Their brilliant stand helped them climb to second place on the list of the 100-plus partnerships in ODI history, leaving behind one of Sri Lanka's greatest batting pairs. Earlier, Rohit Sharma and Gautam Gambhir's animated balcony exchange after Lord's hundred went viral.
With this stand, Rohit and Kohli completed their 21st-century partnership in One-Day Internationals. They have surpassed Sri Lankan legends Kumar Sangakkara and Tillakaratne Dilshan, who had combined for 20 hundred-plus partnerships. They are now only behind the Indian greats Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly, who have 26 century stands.
More milestones for Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma
The achievement became even more special because the Lord's ODI was the 400th international match that Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have played together. They became the first Indian pair ever to share the field in 400 international matches.
While Kohli smashed a brilliant 74 runs, Rohit stole the show with a magnificent 138-run knock. The veteran opener played fearless cricket and kept India in the chase, but the team eventually fell 27 runs short of the target. Rohit's century also brought several personal records.
Rohit became the first Indian batter to score an ODI hundred at the historic Lord's Cricket Ground. At 39 years and 80 days, he also became the oldest Indian player to score an ODI century and the oldest Indian to hit an international hundred in any format.
Virat Kohli also reached another impressive landmark during the final ODI. The former India captain now has 87 century partnerships in ODI cricket, making him the second-most successful batter in terms of involvement in 100-plus stands. Rohit is also part of this elite list with 73 century partnerships to his name, while Sachin Tendulkar continues to lead the chart with 99.
