India National Cricket Team players Riyan Parag and Yash Dayal engaged in a heated moment during the first round of Duleep Trophy 2024. The moment happened between the duo during the game between India A and India B, which took place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
During the second innings of the game when Yash Dayal was bowling to Riyan Parag in the 8th over. The batter was playing aggressive Cricket and was trying to keep his team in the hunt with his brutal batting. But that didn't last long, as he was removed by a left-arm pacer.
Dayal bowled a delivery, from round the wicket, angling into the fourth-stump line. The ball held its line and took the outside edge as Riyan Parag pushed at it. The ball took the outside edge, and Rishabh Pant, the keeper-batter, took a brilliant catch behind the stumps.
What caught the attention of many was the celebration of Yash Dayal after removing Riyan Parag. The pacer shouted and screamed in batter's face after getting him out. The India batter gave him a death stare and walked off as he saw the fast bowler continuing to stare at him.

Yash Dayal came up with a Virat Kohli-like aggression. The fast bowler plays with the Indian batter at Royal Challengers Bengaluru and shares a great bond with him. On the other hand, Parag also shares great camaraderie with Kohli and calls the India batter his idol.
Riyan Parag played a vital hand with the bat but couldn't take his team home. The all-rounder scored 31 runs off 18 balls with the help of 1 four and 3 sixes. But after he got out, India A kept losing wickets at regular intervals and went on to lose the game.
Riyan Parag, in the first innings, also had a decent outing with the bat. The right-hander scored 30 runs off 64 balls with the help of 4 boundaries. However, Yash Dayal removed the batter in the first innings and also had his number in the second innings.
