Former India National Cricket Team captain Virat Kohli is celebrating his 34th birthday and India’s mental conditioning coach Paddy Upton is celebrating his 54th birthday on Saturday, November 5, 2022. The duo received warm wishes from fans and the cricketing fraternity from across the globe.

The batting maestro Kohli, who was born on November 5, 1988, in Delhi, is currently in Australia for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 and he alongside Upton celebrated their birthday with the Indian players and the support staff.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) took to Twitter to share a video of the birthday celebrations. In the video, Kohli and Upton were seen cutting the cake while being surrounded by the players and support staff members, who were singing the birthday song.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli’s former Royal Challengers Bangalore teammate and his good friend, AB de Villiers, shared an emotional message for Kohli on his birthday.

“I hope you’re doing well. I’m currently in Bangalore. Um, it’s quite ironic cause I’m sending you a message just to wish you a happy birthday on the 5th of November. I hope you have a fantastic day. You are one hell of a cricket player, but you are a much better human being.

“Thank you very much for your friendship. Thanks for being a great teammate and just a great man. Happy birthday. All the best for the World Cup to you and the whole India team. I really hope you go all the way and have fun. Maybe find South Africa the final it will be very entertaining.
