Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batter Virat Kohli has been a live wire on the field in the ongoing game against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru is hosting the game between the two teams on Thursday (24th April).
After posting a total of 206 runs on the board, Royal Challengers Bengaluru are giving their best with the ball against Rajasthan Royals. Both pacers as well as spinners have been decent with the ball and are making sure that they put pressure on the opposition.
One of the vital contributions has come from Krunal Pandya. The left-arm spinner made an instant impact as soon as he was brought into the attack. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru bowler removed Rajasthan Royals skipper Riyan Parag to jolt the opposition, and after that was spot on with the ball.
Krunal Pandya almost got the wicket of Dhurv Jurel as well, but it was a blunder from the umpire Ulhas Gandhe that gave fake hope to Royal Challengers Bengaluru. On the 4th ball of the 10th over, Krunal Pandya bowled a length delivery drifting into the middle to the keeper-batter, who got forward to push.
Dhruv Jurel got the big inside edge that went onto the pad. As soon as the ball hit the pad, Krunal Pandya came up with a big appeal, and umpire Ulhas Gandhe raised his finger. But the Rajasthan Royals batter was confident as he opted for DRS.
The UltraEdge showed a big spike when the ball was next to the bat, and the decision was overturned. However, the umpire accidentally raised his finger despite being told to declare not out. He soon realized his mistake and hilariously signalled not out twice to make up for the blunder.
