Aakash Chopra stated in a video posted to his YouTube account that captaincy possibilities will probably receive the highest bids. The former Indian opener explained why Smriti Mandhana will be the most in-demand: “It will be an exciting auction because it is taking place for the first time. They must also find five captains. So, if you go to get a captain, you will spend a lot of money that you do not have. Without a doubt, Indian players would be the most expensive.”

“It will be a fascinating auction because it is taking place for the ” Smriti Mandhana, in my opinion, will be the most expensive, followed by Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepti Sharma. I imagine Ellyse Perry as a captain for one of the teams. Ashleigh Gardner, Meg Lanning, Nat Sciver, Amelia Kerr, Hayley Matthews, or Marizanne Kapp might be the fifth – there is simply too much talent,” Aakash Chopra added.

“Generally, all-rounders get a lot of money”: Aakash Chopra

In contrast to those in the Indian Premier League (IPL), renowned analyst Aakash Chopra believes all-rounders might not be laughing all the way to the bank, explaining:

“Generally all-rounders get a lot of money. However, because there are so many all-rounders in this town, they may be paid slightly less. It’s not like the Men’s IPL, where there are few all-rounders and we end up paying 50 crores to three of them,” Aakash Chopra added.

Chopra concluded by stating that franchises would like to hire international pacers. He reasoned that India lacked depth in the seam-bowling department.
