The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has revealed the dates for the upcoming Women's Premier League (WPL) Auction 2025. As per the reports in Cricbuzz, it is learned that the bidding event is all set to take place in Bengaluru on 15th December.
The reports in Cricbuzz suggested that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has informed the five franchises about the auction date and venue recently. The Women's Premier League (WPL) auction for the third season will be a mini auction as only a few slots are available.

All five teams in Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, UP Warriorz, and Gujarat Giants can spend up to INR 15 crore and have a squad size of 18 players. Each squad is allowed a maximum of six overseas players in the squad.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru will have the purse of INR 3.25 and will have four slots to fill. Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals will be having the purse of INR 2.65 and 2.5, respectively, with both the teams having 4 slots each to be filled in the auction.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) hasn't made anything official about the window for the Women's Premier League. However, as per various reports in media outlets, it is learned that the third season of the tournament will be played between February and March. Royal Challengers Bengaluru are the defending champions.
