In his absence, many other bowlers have impressed with their stellar bowling attack for Team India. However, the right-arm pacer is not a permanent pacer for the team currently. After he emerged as expensive in the shortest format, he was not given many chances last year.
However, in the recent ODI and T20I series, the right-arm pacer gave a decent performance. In 8 ODIs and 8 T20Is, the Indian speedster has hunted 13 and 11 wickets respectively.
