Justifying the toss, the bowlers gave a quick breakthrough by sending both the openers back to the hut for a cheap score. However, Rahmat Shah and Ikram Ali Khan have added 111-run partnership for the third wicket in order to stabilise the innings.

Just when things looked solid for Afghanistan the run of Khan and the wicket of Rahmat Shah completely changed the complexion of the game. Following the dismissals, none of their batsmen stayed in the crease, as they were bundled out for 194 runs.
