The ex-Delhi batsman placed Andre Flintoff at number six on his list. Flintoff, who is widely regarded as one of the great all-rounders of the gentleman’s game made the cute ahead of the likes of Zaheer Khan, Brett Lee and Shoaib Akhtar, Chopra revealed.

The Englishman’s ability to bowl perfect yorkers with reverse-swing is what made him a deadly predator.

At number five, Chopra opted for Australian phenom Mitchell Starc. He added that Starc bowls perfect yorkers and that too with a pace of 150kph, which is an unparalleled feat in itself. Therefore, the 30-year-old deserved a spot on his list.

For the fourth spot on the rankings, Chopra named Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah.

“While Bumrah hasn’t played that much of cricket in his short career, as compared to other players, but he has done wonders,” said the former right-handed batsman.

Chopra also added that Bumrah has been ‘sensational’ and everyone would agree to this opinion.

The player-turned-commentator named former Pakistan legend Waqar Younis at number three.

Chopra opined that he is a great admirer of Younis’s deadly yorkers. He also added that Younis was all the more devastating with the old ball, irrespective of the fact if a batsman was set or not.

Waqar was followed by his international teammate Wasim Akram on Chopra’s list. The Pakistani maestro deserved a mention in one of the best bowlers of all time, in his opinion.

“Wasim could bowl both in-swing and out-swing yorkers with perfection, also he did a lot of damage with the old ball due with the reverse swing,” said Chopra about the 53-year-old legend.

For the top spot, he went with Sri Lankan ace Lasith Malinga. Chopra stated that Malinga’s ability to bowl yorkers consistently in pressure situations is the reason why he deserved the top spot.

“Whenever we talk about yorker specialists, the first name that pops out is of Malinga’s,” said Chopra, before wrapping up his list.
