Twitter Reacts After AB De Villiers Smashes Jasprit Bumrah-led Mumbai Indians Attack To The Tune Of 24-Ball 55

Oh AB de Villiers! You freak of a batsman! Why did you retire so soon? Once again ‘Mr 360’ forced his millions of fans to get absolutely gobsmacked courtesy his brutal takedown of the best white-ball bowler of the current era in Jasprit Bumrah, smashing the Indian pace spearhead for 28 in just eight balls during his maniac 24-ball 55 against Mumbai Indians on Monday.

After having missed out in the last game, AB de Villiers hit his traps right from the outset, smashing the Jasprit Bumrah-led Mumbai Indians attacks to all corners of the Dubai International stadium.

After Virat Kohli got dismissed for a painstaking 11-ball 3, RCB needed their other trump card in AB de Villiers to spearhead the innings after Aaron Finch and Devdutt Padikkal had got their side off to a brilliant start.

And, ABD did exactly that. After hitting Krunal Pandya for boundaries in his first few balls, AB laid into Jasprit Bumrah in the 17th over. Bumrah attacked ABD with short-pitch deliveries but ‘Mr 360 was up for it, smashing the ace fast bowler for disdainful fulls over square-led and mid-wicket

AB de Villiers took Bumrah for 17 runs in the next over and in the process registered his 2nd 50 of the tournament. His takedown of Bumrah and Shivam Dube’s annihilation of James Pattinson in the final over meant, RCB eventually posted 3-201 in 20 overs, smashing 78 runs in the last 5 overs.
