Arjun Tendulkar once again continues to come under the spotlight for all the right reasons. Team India involved themselves in an intense practice session in both batting and bowling departments at iconic Lord’s. It seems that KL Rahul might have spoken to Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar after displaying a poor show in Birmingham Test.
Interestingly, things went little different than expected.
While preparing for seam and length of the 20-year-old Sam Curran, the left-arm seamer of England, Indian management opted to use services of young all-rounder Arjun Tendulkar.
Arjun is a left-arm medium pacer who bowls pretty much like Curran. He bowled to KL Rahul after Kohli completed his turn.
However, he uprooted the stumps of KL Rahul with a sharp delivery that castled the off-stump of the top-order batsman.
In an apologetic attitude, Arjun Tendulkar walked towards KL Rahul to take the ball back. However, Rahul in return complimented him after regaining his exposure.
The debut of Arjun Tendulkar:
Junior Tendulkar recently made his debut in First-class cricket. He played his debut match in the four-day Youth Test series in Sri Lanka.
In his debut, the junior master was the opening bowler of Indian side after Sri Lanka decided to bat first. He took the wicket of RVPK Mishra in his third over.
In the second innings, he finished off the second innings while castling the last batsman of Sri Lanka.
Earlier, junior master caught up with the English female cricketer, Danielle Wyatt. She posted her selfie with Arjun Tendulkar on her Instagram account that went viral in a jiffy.
While Arjun is enjoying his off time in England and turned up for some work in the Lord’s, India will be hoping to have the upper hand in the second Test. The second Test is being played at Lord’s from August 9.
