The Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) in India had changed the schedule in Asia Cup 2018, and Team India will not play any game at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
However, India will play against Hong Kong on September 18, 2018, and then on the very next day against Pakistan.
Hong Kong is playing the tournament for the third time. India will try to put some pressure on the opponent. India will face off Pakistan after a prolonged gap.
The arch-rivals played their last match in the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 at The Oval where Pakistan beat India by 180 runs in the grand finale. Moreover, they will try to regain their energy. And keen enough to win all the matches in every possible way.
BCCI is hosting the Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates:
However, they are in association with the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB). The format of the Asia Cup 2018 is composed in such a manner that every team will play at least one game at both the venues.
The two stadiums are as Dubai International Cricket Stadium and the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
However, Sportstar has understood that the BCCI has made a change in the schedule. The Men in Blue has to commute for almost 90 minutes pre and post-match.
Furthermore, on qualifying for Super 4, the host board India will play as Group A – Qualifier 1 in Asia Cup 2018.

Moreover, according to the original plan, if India lost to Pakistan in group A, it would result in India travelling to Abu Dhabi. It is for one of the three Super four games. But surprisingly the rulebook makes no such provision for Group B. This group is comprised of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, the Super Over has emerged as a vital aspect of Twenty20 cricket. But in the Asia Cup 2018, if its a tie in the final match then it will be a tie-break over in an ODI.
In addition, this will happen to be the first time in ODI cricket. However, both teams will emerge as joint winners, if any problem persists on the ground regarding weather and light conditions.
